EVERYONE HAS A STORY ABOUT SEX

Most of us were handed a script we didn’t write, and never got a
chance to edit. This space is for the rewrites.

My passion is helping people reclaim that authorship. For the
pleasure that was buried, the questions you were told not to ask, discovering new desires, and reclaiming pleasure at any age,
in any season.

I believe sexual health is a human right,
and so is the freedom to enjoy it.

Tarah Sykes

Tarah Sykes, founder of Forbidden & Found and certified sexologist

I built Forbidden & Found for everyone who was left out of the conversation, and for the ones who were punished for even wanting to be in it.

I know what it’s like to grow up with questions no one would answer. To silence your own curiosity. To shape yourself around someone else’s shame.

I also know what it feels like to finally stop.

My work centers on consent, communication, and unlearning the cultural scripts that keep people quiet.

It’s about giving back the language, tools, and permission we should’ve had all along.

I'm a board-certified sexologist, certified sex coach, and sex educator. My work spans kink fundamentals, pleasure anatomy, consent, communication, the neuroscience of desire, and the art of asking for what you want.
